VOID

I am nothing.
I can become everything.

VOID

As the agarwood burns down to its final grain, the glowing ember quietly fades. The delicate stream of smoke ceases its ascent, leaving behind a pure, earthy fragrance that permeates every hidden corner. The room descends into an absolute stillness.

But does that fragrance truly vanish as it dissipates? No. The pristine essential oil molecules are never lost; they merely dissolve, weaving into the very timber of the room, infusing the air, and silently merging into the infinite expanse of the universe. From the finite, it transitions into the boundless. The end of an incense stick, it turns out, is merely its expansion into the entirety of the living space.

And as the external world sinks into silence, that profound stillness quietly turns inward, touching the very depths of consciousness.

Absolute stillness and yielding essence

We often spend our lives confining ourselves to rigid identities. Like a pristine block of clay—inherently soft and holding every possibility—once molded into a fixed shape, we cling to it desperately. We cast ourselves in heavy roles: the one who must constantly bear the burden, the one draped in titles of luxury, or the definitions of success and failure dictated by the gaze of others. We fear change; we fear the stumbles that might shatter the shell we have so painstakingly built.

Yet, deep within, we are not those rigid shells.

The shattering of a goal, the shift of a life chapter, or the stripping away of a prestigious title is never an end. Just as the clay, when its old form is dismantled, returns to its flawless, original state, every collapse is simply the old structure dissolving to return you to your primal potential. You are not the shape of those titles or those traumas. You are the yielding essence, capable of being reshaped at any moment.

Upon realizing this, the fear of loss instantly vanishes. There is nothing left to stubbornly grasp, nor anything to regret letting go of.

You sit there, in a realm of absolute stillness and profound silence. No smoke, no name, no chains of the past or the future.

Only a complete, weightless, and liberated presence remains — I am nothing, and therefore, I can become everything.
